Though rhymed, metered verse
is not my forte,
It's Haskins' birthday,
so I said, "What the hey".

We're all getting older;
don't fret and don't stew,
I hope it's consoling
that I'm older that you!

Have a great birthday, William!
I hope you have fun,
so I'm sending this poem,
with no emoticon.

I'm with Poet on this one - it's already over 13 hours into the 13th here in Queensland, Oz, and if I wait a few more hours until the 13th clicks over in the US, our day here is almost over... let's say this is a huge Mexican wave started Down Under... and a party is a party, so... (just blame it on the blood rushing to our heads)...
