Hi everyone,

So I've got a request for a full today :)D), about a week ago had a request for a partial. Do I need to let the agent know (the one who requested today) that another agent is reviewing my manuscript as well?

I feel like it's protocol to do so, but I just want to double check before looking stupid.

Thanks,
Ikhlas

No, only if that agent requests an exclusive. Otherwise don't worry about it.

If one agent makes an offer, then you should contact the other agent and let them know whether you're going to accept outright, or if you'd like them to weigh in before you make a decision.

In God I dwell, especially in Eugene OR
Sat Nam! (Literally "Truth Name"--a Sikh greeting)

Usually you don't have to. But if the agent's website says that's what they want, tell them.

And congrats on the request!

Blessings,

Unless an agent asks for an exclusive you shouldn't mention it. Too bad, though. It would be nice to say something like, "Hey, here's the full. It's going like hotcakes!"
