First book sale outside the U.S. Huzzah!

They say it's the little things...

When checking my sales, I noticed I've finally sold at least one copy of my YA novel Normalish to someone in the U.K. It's only taken me six months to break out and become an international author. (I like to celebrate any good news I can.)

J.S.F., you're quite the international author, aren't you? (That's so cool!)

I've had reviewers from around the world, but that was the first outside sale that I know of. One book reviewer was an Iraqi teen who really connected with my book. We exchanged emails on Goodreads, and I was so touched by that experience. The world felt a little bit smaller.

Oh, no! Please forgive me! (I feel so ashamed now. Okay, not really. You know I love you and your books are so wonderful and beautiful and poignant and I'm going to read The Reasons soon and I'm seeing how long this run-on sentence can be...)
