Greetings All ~Just wanted to let you know about our new site - we hope it will help you and we are definitely seeking writers! Here is the announcement...

Coop.org (http://www.coop.org) is a recently rolled out website that is broadcasting cooperation. Based in Portland, Oregon, our online platform allows people, organizations and businesses to contribute news (http://www.coop.org/submit-news/), post events (http://www.coop.org/submit-event/) and offer crowd funding projects to the public. There is no cost to place any of this information on Coop.org (http://Coop.org). All we ask is that the subject matter be regarding cooperation/collaboration between two or more organizations/businesses/individuals. You can check the site for ideas and examples, but here are some specifics:

Write and enter news
> This can be about organizations collaborating, businesses working together, governments cooperating, communities connecting together or a combination therein.
> Topics include, but are not limited to: environment, education, technology, politics, health, housing, entertainment, and commerce (plus we are open to adding more!).
> Gain valuable promotion for you/your organization/your business on our page rank 6 site (that was originally registered in 1996!), as we allow backlinks, profile information, social sharing, etc.

Post events
> If you are directly involved with or even just know about an event that centers around cooperation, collaboration and/or connecting entities, you can enter the information on the site.
> Our calendar will automatically populate and display the overview.
> You can also write a corresponding article to promote the event further!

Crowd funding projects (We call this Collaboration in Action.)
> Coop.org is currently taking in applications for projects before fully rolling out this existing functionality.
> We encourage anyone with a crowd funding campaign to apply here: (http://www.us5.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=ee65c7fa388de45d4de41ffcd&id=d49faed998&e=6b914b79d1)
> Even if you have a present/upcoming campaign on another platform (Kickstarter, IndieGoGo, etc.) you can promote it on Coop.org, as listed projects can also have a news article on the site to take advantage of gaining inroads with an audience predisposed to collaboration!

We hope you will join our community and contribute to a site that already has social connections and visitors from over 100 countries! Coop.org (http://Coop.org) is always open to talking about strategic partnerships and other ideas, so please feel free to get in touch. We believe that cooperation makes the world a better place and look forward to your positive involvement!
