Not necessarily. Went to UB in '96. I commuted.

To my pleased amazement, it's entirely possible to get from my house to Geneseo without getting on a highway. It would take just under an hour, so it's not something I'd be doing often.

Geneseo would work great for me. I'm there all the time anyway to go to Wegman's, haha. I've never been to Holland, but I just checked it out and I'd be up for the drive.
(I'm kind of a highwayphobe too, Maryn - I commuted to UB for a semester, and even then I never took the Thruway.)

AmyJay and Maryn, weekends work best for me, preferably late morning or early afternoon.
I don't know Geneseo THAT well, so AmyJay, you would need to pick the spot.
ETA: Just read Maryn more closely. I'm flexible, but I do have a FT weekday job. So evenings would work too. Let me know what you guys think.
