Gettin' Sh*t Done!

I'm getting excited as I see my to-do list wither. (-:

My 3rd novel, THE REASONS, is slated to come out in April (Published by MUSA PUBLISHING) and I just finished the second round of edits on it. I'm awaiting final line edits and looking forward to seeing my cover!

I just submitted the final draft of my InspiraTO Festival play, PERFECT TIMING in to the producer. Worked with an excellent dramaturg and I'm feeling really great about the final draft that she helped pound into shape with me.

I am finished final round of edits on the second novel with my agent. AND my agent has my first novel on the desks of some top choice editors! I'm awaiting news on how that goes...with fingers crossed!

I decided at the beginning of 2013 that I would tighten my belt and stop taking writing for granted. I never really took it seriously enough. This year, I've had my nose to the grindstone AND it seems to be working!

Maryn...you're funny! I feel the same way about the word. I worked with my dramaturg for about a month and a half. I worked it into conversation whenever I could. "Oh, my dramaturg said the funniest thing yesterday!" "Sorry, I was just on the phone with my dramaturg." "Oh! My dramaturg has that movie...she loved it!"
