Regarding this particular one http://www.langorigami.com/art/gallery/gallery.php?tag=birds&name=soaring_rth

How would the wings be described in origami terms? I was thinking "pleated wings," but I'm not quite sure if that's correct.
I'm no expert, but I've done a fair bit of origami in the past (Simpler stuff than in the link. I have a couple of Mr. Lang's books) and I'd say 'pleated' would be a good word. 'Pleated' describes the fold, and the look of the feathers.
Unless you're writing a book about origami, if there is a correct or technical term for 'pleats' it would probably confuse the reader. I don't know how many people would know 'valley fold', 'mountain fold' or 'waterbomb-base'.
