Apanthropicisms... is that when panthers act like humans?

Apo = Away
Anthropos = Human

Apanthropy = Unlike Misanthropy where one hates people, this is just liking to stay away from other people.

Consider each visit as a cubicle where one leaves a note, a musing that fellow apanthropes can relate to and take solace in. You don't hate people, you just don't like their company. You can leave appropriate ephemera here for others to read.

Dear fellow people,

This is my personal space, right here. *gestures* Yes, I want my personal space. Yes, even when I'm at the shops. No, it's not selfish. Selfish would be asking you all to leave the shops while I'm there.

Actually, that would be fantastic. Get on that.

:)

Are you still sitting alone in that office? ;)

You're what we call an introvert. I'm one too.

I wish I could be alone in my office....

I work in an open-plan space. I need to concentrate hard sometimes on spreadsheets full of complicated figures.

And a lot of my colleagues think it's a good idea to hold an impromptu meeting right behind my desk.....

Oh to go back to the old days of separate offices.
