....you realize you have all of the smilies memorized, what row they're in and where.

OK maybe a silly thread BUT it occurred to me when I was posting and wanted a smilie, I knew exactly where it was in the smilie window. And I thought, "Wow, I've been around this place a long time!" Thought we might get some funny answers out of it.

Wow. Just wow.

Between this and the reps, I'm just going to clarify:

A. This is a thread talking about how you know you've been around a long time.
B. You might have been around a long time if you were around for both owners of the board.
C. You might have been around a long time if you remember that before Mac owned the board, she was a mod, and at one point had a different user name.
D. You might have been around a long time if you get the reference to jackbooted mods.
E. You might have been around a long time if you refer to mods as minions.

That was all. Ever. There was no subtext anywhere in there. At all.

I came to the boards today to celebrate my daughter's birthday with everyone and find this instead, so I'm going. And I'm sure as fuck staying out of Office Party from now on. Later.

The explanation you provide above makes it obvious that you should have been more careful in how you worded your post. I told you in a rep that I knew you meant differently, but that's not how your comments might come across to others.
