Trying to find a market for a "tough" piece

Ahh, I've been there. Have one story with 20+ rejections, and I don't believe it's a bad story (it was widely liked on SYW), but it is... different.

As most say, the writing business part talent and part luck. Sometimes you have the right story, at the right time, for the right editor. Other times, you don't.

Anyway, I'll give it a lookie.
