Hi all, I was wondering a few things:

How did you find your editor?

What is a reasonable fee to expect per page of editing?

Once you have made your corrections, is it expected that your editor will do a re-read for free, or do you pay a second time?

Thank you.

Hi,

I found my editor/mentor at book-editing.com. Many editors apply, but only 2% pass the tests and become listed.

Put in for a non-obligatory sample. You send some of your work and up to 4 editors in that genre will respond with a sample of how they would edit that piece. Study their work and choose which editing job you liked best.

Price is 1-2c per word. All the editors charge similarly.

Re-reads are not needed as the manuscript will be returned to you with markings where your errors lie, sometimes with comments.

It never hurts to try a free sample!

I've never paid for an editor, but I have to say that Bubblegirl's link looks like a really good place to start if you feel you need one.
