Should I nudge and, if so, how?

Hello!

Back in July, I received a reply from an agent who was looking at a full MS from me saying he was going to pass it on to his colleagues. I then got a reply from one of the other agents saying she has received the MS and asking if I had any representation. I said no, then waited.

It's been nearly 5 months now, so I was wondering if, after an MS has been passed on, it's usual to get a no-response rejection, or if I should nudge. Or if I should wait another month or so and nudge.

The thing is, I don't know how to go about nudging if I do need to. This is the first time I've thought about it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Then reply to the e-mail that agent sent (so they can see that they have received the manuscript on xx date) and say "Could you tell me whether my manuscript is still under consideration?"
