Exactly - there's a BUNCH more stories, but no one can read that many at once, it's too hard to keep your ear sharp.

And I'll go figure out why the password isn't working. :/

When I came in here the first time and clicked on it, it did not require a password, but today when I logged on and went there it did. So, I think it's good.

If I read it right, people who submitted stories are required to vote. And I'm sure Mac will put up more details on the voting once all the stories are up.

Looking forward to reading more and anyone who has put a story up in SYW understands how much effort and time it takes and that's with just one story.

Started work on a long-delayed novel today; my first such attempt since 1976. Will finish it, and hope to write many more. But short stories are special, and I'm glad to see them appreciated.

How many submissions were there? Guess we'll find out once they're posted!

Agreed. I'm looking forward to the rest, but each entry deserves thoughtful consideration; hard to do that when you're gobbling them down like French fries.

Okay, folks - the 19 20 stories that made it through for the vote are posted (there were some disqualifications for not meeting the criteria) -- so listen up:

IF YOU SENT ME A STORY THAT IS NOT POSTED, and you DIDN'T get an email from me telling you how and where the story missed, PM OR EMAIL ME ASAP.

We'll open voting tomorrow, and I'll post instructions with a board-wide announcement, then.
