Anyone watching?

I love it but it's also mental. It's like Julian Fellowes took a list of top ten writing tips and inverted them: consistent characterisation? Nah. Convincing dialogue? No thanks. Credible motivation and reaction? No siree.

I thought Shirley McClaine's turn as Lady Grantham's mother was brilliant!

And this past episode, Maggie Smith's very understated portrayal of grief was heartbreaking. :'(

Maggie Smith rocks. I am still gutted about that episode! No doubt all will be back to normal next ep.
