I know publishers having creative ways to stretch books out (pull quotes, 3 page breaks per chapter, study guides, etc..). I skimmmed a few books from Lucado and Manning and found that they wrote about 30,000 words or so. Some less and some a little more. Is that ok for established publishers. Can a new Christian non-fiction writer submit a manuscript with only 30,000 words?
