I have discovered I am likely to need to consult someone who is knowledgable about practical lens-making (e.g. eyeglasses) for a fantasy 17-18c setting, and possibly also about the science of optics in that period. Not being a science or math type, I find most of the online resources pretty opaque on their own, as it were, so human guidance is needed!
I don't as yet have specific questions or details, but I know I will want some guidance as far as the plausibility of possible plot elements and input/vetting of relevant details as the work evolves. (I am typically not a fast writer, and this project looks like it will be long.)
Can anyone either offer their own future services, or direct me to someone else I can approach when the time comes?
