...except everything I wrote stayed right inside my head. As soon as I tried to put my wonderfully imaginative scenes and chapters and witty comments down to paper, my mind went blank. I couldn't even remember what I'd wanted to write down, until I packed the notebook away and tried going back to sleep. This happens to me all the time and it's so frustrating!
I suppose it's not the typical kind of 'writer's block', as I don't have any real difficulty with the creativity side of writing right now. But it is a kind of 'block', right, since I can't get any of it onto paper?
Does this happen to anyone else? Does anyone have any suggestions for how I might be able to get over this?
(And sorry if there's already a thread about this elsewhere. I didn't see one, but I have a habit of missing the obvious. Just direct me to it if there is.)
