I have this on my lower back:

http://www.totalimagespecialists.com/Gatchaman/

My tattoo is just the main image, not the lighter stuff above it. It's in full color. I fell in love with Battle of the Planets as a kid. I was two years old, and I barely remember life before it. Now, as an adult, I like a lot of Japanese stuff, anime, and manga, and I'm a big fan of the original Japanese Gatchaman series that BOTP was made from. That is Jun/Princess in my avatar. I also love superheroes, and ninjas. One of my favorite roles was when I played a ninja last summer. And Science Ninja Team Gatchaman are both ninjas and superheroes. So when I got my tattoo, I decided to get Gatchaman, and I wanted the whole team.

What do you have, and why? If you don't have one, what would you get?

My wife has some strange sun type design on her back sort of between the shoulder blades. I do not have a tattoo. I've always wanted one, but I am scared of needles.

I'm no longer of tattooing age--women my age have tats, yeah, but we don't get new ones. But I very much like one my daughter's considering, a Celtic knot on her back, between the shoulder blades.

I have three tattoos and plan to get more. On my left ankle, there's a witch with three black cats for me and my kids. My right shoulder has a Celtic love knot for me and my hubby. About a month ago I got a claymore wrapped in a thistle on my left inner forearm, in honor of my Scottish heritage. I also want to get a raven on my left shoulder, an Egyptian design somewhere (haven't decided where yet, but it will include an ankh and the Eye of Horus), and the words "strength and honor" around my right ankle.

I suppose then the question is: where are you going to put it?

I have the kanji for "kaizen" ("gaisan" in Mandarin) on my shoulder.

It means continuous improvement (unfortunately, it was also hijacked in the '90s by corporations as a dynamic business model).

Hey, that was my Other Idea... tattoos of cufflinks!

tt, I was just waiting to find out whether you were getting a haircut. Can I go ahead with the long-hair design?

Completely sideways, man
My one tattoo isn't exactly what I drew out. I think the artist was high. Or maybe he wasn't, and that was the problem. At any rate, it was supposed to be a thorny vine around my ankle. What he did instead was make thorns that appear to be pushing through my flesh all the way around my ankle. It's kinda cool, but not what I drew. Up the outside, I have a small flame. Hubby wanted me to get that to represent my (as he calls it) "Little Bit o Fire"

Hubby has 5 really cool tatts and one less-than-cool one. An old girlfriend designed a great looking teddy bear with horns, fangs and claws, but the artist didn't quite capture it. Too bad it's on his forearm. ~laughing~

I use Indian Ink to tatoo the names of my victims down my chest and my back. Soon, very soon, I shall begin to put names on my arms and legs as well. Soon.

I don't have one, and I highly doubt I'll get one because I don't like needles and I can't tolerate pain...but hypothetically speaking, if I were to get one, I would get the Stones symbol on my thigh. I have thought about this.
