This was on TV a couple of nights ago so I recorded it to watch probably next weekend. Never seen it before so on a scale of 1-10, how crappy is this going to be? I'm all for watching a bad film and this looks pretty dire. In the best way, of course.

From the IMDB synopsis: Young co-eds are being cut up by a chainsaw killer on a college campus. The killer is attempting to put together a human jigsaw puzzle made from body parts.

It's called Pieces, for chrissakes. How bad do you think it's gonna be?

I'm talking bad as in 'turn your brain off' sort of bad.

Is it a searing indictment of the human condition? I'm just guessing here.

I certainly hope so. I'll be disappointed if it's anything but.

Oh, and here I figured you wanted to see a bunch of overripe Z-grade actresses get carved into chopped liver. :e2chain:

I'll wait for The Cabin In the Woods to hit stores.

Well it's Argento, so it has potential. But I seem to remember the other film he did with Jennifer Connelly (Phenomena) bombing horribly, even for his established fanbase. Haven't seen it, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Is it Argento? I'll double check.

It's not Argento.

D'oh! I scrolled down too far. Just another giallo, then.

I'll probably give it a watch this weekend. I had a go of the first few minutes last night - it looks awful. So my sort of film.

FWIW, the Rifftrax crew (Mike, Kevin, and Bill from the old MST3K) have put their special touch of comedy madness on Bloody Pit of Horror, a terrible sixties Italian gorefest starring muscleman Mickey Hargitay (husband of Jayne Mansfield, and father of Mariska Hargitay of Law and Order fame.) Amazon has it, I believe.
