When I saw the list of screenplays she wrote, I was flabbergasted at the number of favourites on my DVD shelf. She will be missed, not only as an entertainment icon, but as an inspiration.

Terrific writer, trenchant and funny. A sad day, indeed.:(

When Harry Met Sally is a personal favorite.

I hear you.

For me, there is no better comedy, ever.

RIP, Ms. Ephron, I will always cherish my signed copy of Heartburn, a brilliant, funny, heart-breaking book that first illustrated to me the truth of the adage, "Don't get mad, get even."

One of my personal favorites is Heartburn. Almost everything she said was funny. I'll always remember her on Oprah when she was promoting her book I Feel Bad About My Neck: And Other Thoughts on Being a Woman. She was so honest and refreshing.

RIP, Nora

R.I.P.

I've never seen any of her movies, but the world is always a lesser place when a writer passes on.
