Finished the Book!

I started writing the Book of Helen in 2007, when I had 8 children.

It is now 2012. I have ten. And having just finished (there are no gaping holes) the Book of Helen, I feel like I just birthed my 11th but with no epidural in sight.

The editing starts tomorrow, but right now....the computer smells like victory. And victory tastes a lot like a chocolate bar and a diet coke, the celebration feast of champions.

Same amount of time it took to write my first book - congrats! Being a man I can't comment on the feeling of giving birth, but I can imagine it is similar, only without all the icky stuff.

OMG, Sherry Tex, I've been watching and waiting for this for years. I'm not kidding, because I remember when you started it. The title alone drew me in, then I found out what it was about. We can go waaaaay back on the SYW thread when I first perked up about it.

Super Awesome. Now get that puppy edited and out there. I won't say try to get it published--My gut instinct tells me it WILL be.
