My phone's default Chinese font is broken or incomplete. It only shows about 80% of the characters, and it's not even missing obscure ones... I can't display 女，是，狠，or 认 for instance. The missing characters are always displayed as 口 (or maybe it's just a box? It's hard to tell on Chinese sans-serif fonts.)
It's an Android (Samsung Galaxy Prevail), and it locks the user out of being able to change fonts. This would be less annoying except that I got a rather nice, digital Chinese dictionary for my phone, and I suspect there's a special layer of hell reserved for me, where I look up a word, and it's constantly defined as 口。 :|

Sorry to hear that. You've tried downloading a language patch or it's equivalent? Not sure what else I can suggest.
