And this one's taken me about a year to write the first draft and numerous revisions.
It's a YA suspense novel titled I KNOW UR SECRET. Here's a brief description:
Emily Bell is an atypical high school sophomore. Not only is she on the cheerleading squad, she also co-hosts a webshow on YouTube. When she starts getting harrassing text messages that threaten to reveal her darkest secrets, she must choose to either play along and start doing embarrassing stunts on her show, or reveal the secrets herself and risk losing her best friend and becoming a school outcast.
Well, I'm still working on the blurb.
The manuscript is 250 pages and 59K words. I went through a lot of starts and stops and a three-month hiatus from writing, and posted several items in SYW for much-needed feedback.
I printed out the whole manuscript on Saturday and have been working since then on a final revision and polish.
It's ready for a beta reader.
