Hello, everybody! I'm gearing up to write a few articles on a variety of topics related to the business world, and the meetings industry in particular. I'd like to hear from anyone who might have insights on the following ...

* Creating/implementing successful team-building activities
* Benefits/functionality of holding a meeting at a gaming destination

Unless the corporation is directly involved in the gaming industry, I do not think holding a meeting in a gaming environment would be wise for two reasons.

1) If any employees are not fans of or familiar with gaming then they would not "fit" into that type of setting giving rise to a general feeling of uneasiness.

2) If any employees are fans of gaming then their focus on the task at hand may become subject to compromise by their "more interesting" surroundings.
