Since I started submitting a story a week, I have been getting so much spam. Is there any connection between the two? Has this happened to any of you? It seems strange, but I can't help but think it could be related.

I can't say I've noticed this. The only similar thing I can think of is that because I've entered Writers of the Future I often get spam from them, but they also often send out notes of encouragement so I don't mind it so much.
I've had markets add me to their mailing lists sometimes, but I don't get any random spam to my submissions address. I only use the address for submissions though. My public emails are different and do get spam.
A story a WEEK? Wow. How long are they? As far as spam goes, I don't know that I've seen a real increase. Everyone wants to make my (nonexistent) penis larger, but that is nothing new... Where are you sending that spams you afterward?
