Oh we're here, all right. I keep trying to think of something to talk about Pagan-wise and can never think of anything. Hmmm...

Erm...

Anyone able to recommend any herbal tea blends that use herbs like fennel, caraway, anise or liquorice? I looove me those flavours.

Out here in southern Africa we drink dried wild rooibos, which isn't aniseedy but refreshing all the same.

I've noticed that most neo-pagan/ wiccan etc blogs go silent for a long time, between sabbats or phases of the moon, which is why I have been trying to broaden my own blog to include other themes to do with women writers and feminist issues and anything that hints at the Uncanny.

Working my butt off!! Published a new HuffPo piece on a Rune book: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kelley-harrell/a-modern-voice-of-an-anci_b_1331248.html

Gearing up to teach classes for two upcoming local Pagan events. Planning to teach a class on Writer's Block and the Shamanic Narrative at the Pagan Writer's Network--haven't gotten a solid yes on the dates for that, yet. Very excited about the class!
Finished the last round of edits for my novel and looking for peer readers.
Got a novella coming out in May under my other name.
Contemplating the PILE of other writing projects that need attention.

Thanks for stirring the pot, and hope all are well!

I'm working away, both at book two in my historical romance series, and on a short story. The short story is very influenced by my beliefs of reincarnation, but not really pagan (as I think of it) so I haven't mentioned it here. I love coming here, but I can't think of much pagan to write about. Pagan is what I am, not what I write, so often....
*sigh* but this is a nice place to feel welcome and not judged.

If you want to send me a chapter to see if you would get anything out of my beta-style, I'd be glad to look at it.

Thank you! I would be pleased to have your input. It's been through professional editing twice, now, and I just want a general run-through from fresh eyes. There is one mechanism I put in as a result of those edits, and I'm not convinced that it's working, as-is.

What's the best way to contact you? Thanks again!

PS--I really like your blog!

I am a Pagan as well. So yes, we are out there, but we tend to keep ourselfs hidden under a cover of darkness (like the Wolf Fish in Suriname).

Of course, we tend to be a lot nicer and not go after monkeyes that have fallen into our rivers!

But we should always make a point to try and help each other in our goals to become great writers. So if any of my fellow Pagans are needing help, feel free to message me.
