Up side:

-The show has an interesting format, with Don Cheadle playing Marty Kahn, who is essentially educating the viewer on high powered business consulting.

-The entire cast is fantastic, though it's Showtime so that's a given.

-Lots of hilarious sex.

Down side:

-Marty's unconditional love for his son does not strike me as a strong enough redeeming quality for his sheer amorality when it comes to business.

-Jeannie's conscience does not redeem her hypocrisy concerning business practices.

-The only kinda likeable character (Doug) just gets shit on constantly.

Maybe it's my aggressively pro-socialist tendencies, but I can't seem to reconcile my fondness for the actors with the pro-capitalist dickwads that are their characters. I can't identify or empathise with them, and my sympathy is limited considering these people kinda bring their suffering on themselves.

I'd say it's just not my cup of tea, but many of the subplots are interesting (Marty's son struggling with being bisexual and/or transgendered, Jeannie's doubts regarding her marriage, etc). I'm just turned off by the character's work lives so damn much. They're kinda despicable people!
