Galleys are proofed!

I got the galleys for my soon-to-be-published fantasy novel this week, and finally I've gone through the entire thing, proofreading. I did it on paper, but I think I'll run through on-screen once too, just in case. I noticed an underlined comma on the screen that I didn't see on the page, so it makes me think that my eye is accustomed to the screen presentation well enough that I might find more stuff to fix by another round of proofing on-screen.

I also got to see my book's cover this week. Yay! I'm quite happy with it, too (what a relief!).

Soon I will officially be a published novelist. Very, very soon.

I'm now a published novelist!

Thanks everyone! It's now official. My novel was published today. Of course, it'll take time to print the books and get them into bookstores, but today was the official publication date.
