What would someone from Edinburgh specifically, call their mother?

Mum, Mam, Maw, or something else?

Usually Mum, or possibly Maw in working class areas.

Era is present-day. Character is male, aged 27.

He is a doctor, so intelligent but cites himself as being brought up one of the rougher areas of Edinburgh, so probably of working-class parents - but proper working-class, not benefit scroungers-class. Think 'first of family to do well' sort of thing.

Bitchtits Whoreface, if we're referring to my mother.

'Mum', for slightly-less-dysfunctional families.
