California's Prop 8 Ruled Unconstitutional--again

I love this line from the decision:

Proposition 8 served no purpose, and had no effect, other than to lessen the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians in California

It will probably go en banc first, where it's reviewed by the entire 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. If it's still ruled unconstitutional at that level, or the 9th denies the petition, then it goes to the Supremes.
