I felt very guilty laughing at that. I have a teen whose only function is scrolling the mouse wheel through Tumblr, and today she had two E's and a D on her report card to prove it. (She's also grounded from the internet until she's forty.)
But I also have a good friend who really did have to turn life support off for his teen this autumn, following an axonal sheer injuries sustained in a car accident.
Satire is great stress relief. Both my teen and pre-teen thought this was funny (and recognized themselves in it).
