Beatdom is a Beat Generation-themed literary journal. It is sold on six continents and is studied in universities in the UK and the US.

The 11th issue of Beatdom will be nature-themed. We are seeking essays, poems, and short stories on the topic of nature. Preference will be given to essays, as these take up most of the space in the magazine, and in particular essays connecting nature to literature.

More detailed submission guidelines: http://www.beatdom.com/?p=1318

We pay one contributor copy.

I have a short (1,900) word science fiction story with a strong undertone of nature, evolution, population niches, and how creatures effect one another. It is one huge nod towards the chitrid fungus affecting bats in the northeast.

Is this appropriate, considering that it is still a Science Fiction story. It is called "Darwin's Children".

Thanks.
