No, there's more lyrics. That was just the first part. You have to hear the song. You can search Google for the "My Humps" video. I'm at work right now, so I can't link you directly. But it's out there. It's hysterical.

Heard this song about 4 months ago when my sis picked up the new Black Eyed Peas album. This song came on and I couldn't believe this was one of the songs that made it to the album. I couldn't stop laughing because it's about as ridiculous as "I'm too Sexy" by Right Said Fred. If this made it to the album, how bad was the stuff on the cutting room floor?

...then I caught the video on TV...The B.E.P. has now officially Jumped The Shark for me...

I would like to agree but there is one I've heard that's worse. Milkshake by Kelis. Probably the most annoying and stupid song I've ever heard...even worse, it worms its way into your brain and it won't go away!

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard,
and they're like,
its better than yours,
damn right its better than yours,
i can teach you,
but i have to charge

I know you want it,
the thing that makes me,
what the guys go crazy for.
They lose their minds,
the way i wind,
i think its time

[Chorus x2]
la la-la la la,
warm it up.
lala-lalala,
the boys are waiting

Oh my God...Make it stop!!

THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one who thought that was pretty skanky. No wonder women aren't very highly thought of in that industry. If they were they would never would have thought of that video and those lyrics. To each his own I guess, but not for me or my girls. Real women don't need to be looked at like that or any woman for that matter.

That's funny! I was standing in the Dollar General Store one day...the place I go when I need to buy cheap spray paint or masking tape or maybe laundry detergent...anyway, there I was standing in line at the checkout and there was a girl in front of me. A guy came up behind me and started singing that song to the girl not quite uder his breath. It was weird. He was leaning over my shoulder and when she'd turn around he was trying to act like it wasn't him.

"I'm too Sexy" by Right Said Fred.

The first song I thought of when I saw the title of this thread. I didn't think it could be topped, but it appears the Black Eyed Peas may have done the impossible.

What industry is that?

I was at work one day, and some chick was playing that song, and I thought, "This is the type of music they would play in a movie if they wanted to indicate that a character had really bad taste in music."

I think you have to use IE for this link because firefox 1.5 didn't work, but here's a link to the video:

As a bonus you also get Gwen Stefani's banana song video.

The music video industry that deals in porn with your clothes on.

I think she has really bad taste in how she wants men to treat her.

So sad what Fergie has become. I actually used to like her when I was a kid; she was on a kids' show called "Kids Incorporated." Back then she went by Stacy Ferguson. Now she's kinda scary-looking, and wears way too much makeup.

I did a rock video recently, and the guys were incredibly cool, and nice to me. I don't have MTV, and I think a lot of videos exploit women, and are just tacky. It's been that way for as long as I can remember.

Arrrrggghh!

A couple of months back I worked with a girl (she's since quit) who listened to a radio station that played that song three or four times during our eight-hour shift. Every single day.

And everyone else thought I always asked for earplugs because of the noise from the machines...

It just occurred to me--how many women would really want those words (in the Peas song) used to describe those parts of their bodies? I, for one, think NOT!

Aww, you didn't post the part about how Fergie gets stuff from guys because they want to oogle her lovely lady lumps!

The definition of prostitution is getting looser (and tackier) all the time!

(And for the record, the Milkshake song is a guilty pleasure of mine, right up there with Loverboy's Working for the Weekend. Shh! Don't tell!)

You see, in this country they might be referred to in a tabloidy sort of way as 'lady bumps', which I think is a lot friendlier. Humps and lumps just make me think of elephantiasis. Not a good look.

Oh come on, I'm Too Sexy is not in the same category. Where's your sense of humour? It was meant to be a piss-take! The difference with Black Eyed Bollocks is they're being serious!!!

YEAH!

Okay, so I do like the Black Eyed Peas once in awhile. "Don't Phunk With My Heart" was a pretty good song, and the video was magnificant.

Now, if NSYNC makes their comeback, I'm probably going to find an axe and start killing.

(On VH1, they showed the "I'm Too Sexy" video, and then started discussuing how the brothers who made it were, in fact, gay men. My wife innocently says, "Oh, I didn't know they were gay." I just about fell out of my chair.)

Well, yes, but it was a failed attempt that got way too much radio airplay that should have gone to artists with genuine wit and talent instead.

I absolutely HATE the My Humps song. My daughter and her friends liked it for a while, and then decided it was stupid after they saw the video. Few things are as fickle as 13-year-old girls. Now when it comes on, they sing along in this high-pitched mock-Fergie whine and shake their butts and make fun of the whole thing. It's freakin' hysterical.

isn't too much radio airplay to artists with genuine wit and talent an oxymoron?

Admittedly, I didn't care for that Black Eyed Peas song all that much.

....come to think of it, the only song I've liked by them in the past few years was "Don't Phunk With My Heart." Hm. I'll stick to my bands. :)
