Problem with Banner Ad [fixed]

Something's not right.

I can't do anything except post with Quick Reply.

When I hold my mouse cursor over most any part of the front page except the forum links, it makes my cursor a hand. The URL at the bottom of my screen is for that site. It's acting kind of like an invisible modal, if that's possible.

I see the same thing too. Almost everything that isn't a link or the body of a post is turned into a link to "editing for authors".

It's gotten me once, too, but mainly I'm OK.

Firefox 9.0.1 on Win7. [With FF's NoScript blocking a lot of scripts.]

Mac updated the banner.

My computer is non-functioning now, so let me see if I can fix it using my iPad.

When I try to use the username and login at the top of the page, it doesn't work and leads me directly to the banner ad site. But, trying the post reply at the bottom of the thread got me in. It didn't before.

Sorry it took so long--there's no way for me to increase the size of the text in the html editor for the forums on my iPad, and it's like someone with normal vision trying to edit 4pt type.

Even without emptying things and what not it now seems to be working fine for me (on Firefox, latest version). Had a click around and all the weird linkies seem to have gone from the user CP and the new threads page.

Have you emptied your cache?

Emptying the cache and refreeishing the page are crucial, because otherwise you're still looking at the old version.

Just logged in with no problems, everything seems to work.
