I thought this might be better posted here rather than Announcements and Events (since it's not actually a writing event). Derek can "cowboy boot" it there if he so chooses.

If any of you are going to be in Nashville in the next couple of months, there is an exhibit of western art at the Cheekwood Museum and Botanical Garden.

Visions of the American West:
Masterworks from the Buffalo Bill Historical Center
Organized by the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Cody, Wyoming

Don't plan to be in Nashville, Alleycat, but thank you for the info. The Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody is one of my must stops if we're in northern Wyoming (ETA: I was thinking of the Whitney Museum of Western Art in Cody when I wrote this earlier - can't remember exactly what all is at the Buffalo Bill Center). I love the Remingtons and Russells but my absolute favorite is Thomas Moran. His work is unbelievable. It's easy to see why he was one of the artists who painted Yellowstone for pictures to show Congress in the quest to make Yellowstone a national park. Puma
