It's cold, windy and grey outside and I have to wait until February for the Superbowl.

DANG!

Here too. (cold, windy, grey...actually, the wind blew away most of the clouds, and we've got some sunshine)

Since when is the Superbowl in February? Hasn't it always been in January?

Too hot here.

Have to remember to change the year whenever I write the date.

Nothing much of interest on TV.

It finally got cold enough here to put on the heat. :(

Being inundated with other people's New Year's Resolutions, which knocks me out with the double punch of boredom and pressure to do my own. I won't, I won't, I won't...well, maybe just a few about writing.

That nagging feeling that you didn't make much progress last year.

I mean, it's completely artificial. January's no different than June, but because it's the start of a mostly-arbitrarily-chosen new year, I'm left with this nagging sense of time having passed when, yo, time is passing all the freakin' time. There's no reason why I should feel antsy and disgruntled in January as opposed to June.

But I do.

I've got to agree jj.

Like, I made a lot of progress in 2011. I did a number of things I'm proud of.

But as soon as January hits, I'm all, "My life isn't perfect, I suck, wah."
