The custard-filled chocolate covered ones, or Mom's homemade "friedcakes".

Mmmmmmmm ...

Plain-old regular glazed, but it's gotta be Krispy Kreme.

My second-favorite is homemade doughnuts made from canned biscuits.

As I'm a chocoholic...

Chocolate glazed, with mountains of fresh whipped cream and dollops of raspberry jam in the middle - the size of a birthday cake. *insert pudgy smilie here* Yes, I know, a bit more than a handful, but...

Instructions:
Buy one cohocolate-glazed coconut-covered d'nut.
Place d'nut in fridge.
Wait 'til chilled.
Consume with milk.

When I was a kid, my parents would occasionally buy a dozen. I'd select a chocolate-coconut for the next morning and put it into the fridge the minute we got home. The next day was like Christmas. Yum.

Warm glazed from Krispy Kreme or jelly-filled from River City Donuts.

Krispy Kreme glazed when they're warm - they taste like any other doughnut when they're cold.

My personal favorite is powdered blueberry filled. Why can't Krispy Kreme make it? Actually, I think Krispy Kreme is highly overrated. They hardly have any choices. Their only fruit filled is raspberry and I think they only have one kind of creme filled. You would think with all the hype they get that they would have more choices.

It's a tie between sour cream glazed and cherry cruller. Oh, and french cruller. And blueberry fritter. And double-chocolate glazed. Musn't forget double-chocolate glazed.

Luckily, chicks dig guys with single abs. :)

Not to be Mr. Negative, but honestly, I don't get the Krispy Kreme thing. They are nothing but air and glaze and you're forced to eat 3 or 4 of them just to feel like you ate something. I like doughnuts with the dough emphasized -- something substantial that sticks to your ribs. ;)

When I was little, they used to sell something called Shoe Soles at the malt shop. They were the size of a Frisbee, hot, cinammony, crispy, and delicious.
