Is there any particular font and/or size that's required for self-publishing on Kindle, Smashwords, etc., or will each service automatically convert the text? What about margins, spacing, etc.? I'm currently using Jarte's default (11-point Calibri) and want to know if that's okay.

Smashwords and Kindle don't like point sizes over 18. I generally stick with the old standard of 12 point in Times New Roman. Kindle users can change the font and point size, so if you start with a basic standard, you'll be good.

I sent my WIP to my kindle Fire, 12pt New Courier and it reads just fine without me having to enlarge it...
