Hey everyone, hopefully someone here can help me out. I'm working on two pieces, a short story and a novel, both of which are written in third-person limited. It's the POV I'm most comfortable with, and it's the POV that feels strongest for both pieces.

But when writing a story about a woman, her girlfriend, and her ex-girlfriend, I find there's a lot of pronoun confusion, as you can imagine. I'm fixing it as best I can, but I'd love to see how a master pulls it off.

Unfortunately, I'm having a difficult time finding decent queer fiction written in the third-person. First-person appears to be the preferred mode, and while I can understand that, it's not particularly helpful.

Can anyone suggest some decent examples? There have to be some I'm overlooking. Thanks!

I'd suggest Lee Lynch's "Sweet Creek".
