Last night it was time for Achtung!, a rather enjoyable cabaret burlesque evening. A yearly celebration of weirdness and polite, british debauchery.
We all dress up, and since the second ever one there has been a theme. Last nights was steampunk.
Oh, the costumes. I was having too much fun for pictures, but in the next few weeks the website will have some up (warning, NSFW)
The always wonderful Professor Elemental performed last night. For the second time, I was dragged up on stage, where he serenaded me. At the same time a man dressed as a monkey danced. This is why my life is awesome.
There were women with fire, lots of alcohol, and I was surrounded by admirers of my costume all last night.
No wonder, when I looked like this:
I'm still a little fragile - I believe I mentioned lots of alcohol - but I have spent the last half hour tweeting with the good professor about the show. So. Apparently I'm awesome. And my night was too.
