I'm curious, is there any such thing as a forum where authors and agents can connect with each other, just like they do at a conference?

There's this:

http://www.webook.com/

I've never used this and don't know how well it works or if it increases a writer's chances with agents.

There's a yearly online conference for YA/MG authors, WriteOnCon: http://writeoncon.com

@Quickbread--I actually found this site about a year ago, looked into it but decided I wasn't ready for it. But now that my second book is complete, I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks for the share.

There's a thread on Webook in Bewares (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114700).

Hmm, they sound totally bogus and unnecessary based on that thread. Thanks for posting, Little Ming. Sorry I even posted their name again here.
