Anybody ever drive a Cadillac Eldorado, circa 1976 or so? What was the front seat like? One solid bench or two parts which could move separately? I've found a couple of images that make it look as if it was all one piece. If anyone can confirm or deny this, I'd be grateful. Thanks!

It looks to me like it was a split bench, at least in the photos I found.

I think in 76 it would have been a split bench seat so you could still fit 3 across the seat.

Yeah, it kind of looked like a split bench, but the pictures I saw showed it sort of straight across, almost as if you couldn't move the parts independent of each other.

I just pulled up a convertible for sale. The pics look like they're separate seats, not a bench. We would call them "bucket" seats in this country, not sure what you would call them.

That would be called split bench here in US. Bucket seats are like this
