I decided this was a good idea to set some goals. Maybe if I see them in print, I'll actually keep them!

1. Send out my young adult novel.
2. Send out my children's stories.
3. Write and send out greeting card submissions.
4. Write queries to women's magazines.
5. Exercise every day to keep my brain stimulated for writing!

Good luck Tri !

Rhymegirl, it does help to see your goals written down. It keeps what you want to accomplish in front of you and (in my experience) therefore elss likely to get sidetracked too easily. Hope it does help you, and good luck.

I've been doing a lot of research on the brain lately....great machine, but so easy to "let it go." Physical and mental excercises are great to keep it in shape.

Boy, I've really been gone long, haven't I?

Just wanted to drop in and say hi. And I'll be posting my monthly goals from March. Till then, April's keeping me on my toes with the weekly ones. :)

I'm just now getting back in the saddle after a bumpy personal ride over the last couple of months.

Today:
*I've sent out one query for guidelines to a greeting card company.
*I've sent out one query about the status of a previous submission.
*I've written several new greeting card ideas.
*I've taken some old ideas and I'm trying to revise them and make them more 'sendable.'

Doesn't sound like much, but it's the most I've done since before Thanksgiving.

My only real goal for February is to take it one day at a time until I get back into the habit of writing, submitting and querying.

Just a couple more days until March how did everyone do with their Feb goals?

I didn't do very well on the poetry book, and that has been put aside for the time being. I got a few articles done and succeeded with the rest of my goals.
