Black Hawk hits the stands tomorrow. I feel a little apprehensive about the whole thing.

Like sending the kid off to kindergarten.

I was apprehensive taking my eldest to his first day of school. We got there and he looked at me and said, "You can go home now."

Happy release day. Now go home and put your feet up, mom.

Congrats, JoB! You've gotten some great reviews so far! Excited to get a copy for myself. :)

Okay, so I was in the middle of an Elizabeth Peters novel when I took a break to go pick up my copy of Black Hawk -- and started reading it instead. This book is so, so good!

Lovely review on Dear Author today.

I had to order it from Amazon - my B&N didn't have it, nor did Target or Walmart. Boy do I miss Borders.

I am so very happy to get this on the shelves and see that the initial response is favorable. I was so worried the plot structure was going to turn folks off.

Just mentioning this, but Barnes & Noble and Amazon both have sales on this right at the moment. About 25% off, I think.

Hi ABCDZ --

I am so glad the book worked for you. The plot structure is difficult to deal with, as you can imagine.

Stupid plot structure.

Oooh. I'll be picking up my Kindle copy come payday. LOVE this series.

Are they a series? I haven't read any of them yet, but I was going to pick this one up? Should I read the others first?

In theory, they are standalone. I've done my best to make each book self-sufficient.

Whether I've succeeded . . .
