I find this, not writer's block, is my problem. I don't wanna write nothing, I don't wanna do nothing, I just want to be entertained.

Anybody have this problem?

There is no such thing as writer's block, just a lazy writer

Start reading to get motivated.
While I write I listen to music and make no schedule.

Try writing a short story or poem to get moving. Afterward, you'll find yourself working. Caffeine works too.

Then you're a reader, not a writer. We need more readers so somebody can buy the tripe we write. Read on!

(Or watch the Republican debates on TV.)

intransitive verb
: to act or lie lazily : idle
transitive verb
: to pass (time) in idleness or relaxation
— laze noun

More often used as to laze about, kind of old fashioned

Take a break then. No big deal. You're tired and writing drains you mentally. Go watch a movie, play the old pokemon game that you'll never throw away, listen to music, or better yet fix a cup of coffee.

Nope. If anything, i'm so drained from the day that I just want to relax. If tgat means no writing gets done, so be it. But that doesn't mean I'm not thinjing about it or that my subconscious isn't working on it in some capacity. :)

Feed your muse and get off message boards.

You should be writing instead if this is really your gig!

I do!
I always just want to lie down and go to sleep.
Although, I do want to write something. I have a lot of trouble actually doing it though. And I imagine that you actually do want to write, but there is something going on that is giving you this general malaise. (or ma-laze...)

Some people have to force themselves to write. For others it just flows. I consider this proof that God loves some more than others.

There's one solution
BIC.
A cup of coffee or tea helps, too.

Here's what I do when I don't feel like writing. I take a break. Usually I'll read a good book or watch a movie and after that I'll feel inspired and the juices start to flow again. If you feel like being entertained, entertain yourself, and then get back to writing.

Then don't.

Just don't be surprised when the book you can't be bothered to write doesn't get published.
