I'm looking for beta readers that read and write horror, not critiques from somebody who usually writes fantasy or sci-fi or whatnot. I'm temped to say I want "nice" critiques, but actually I want the truth. I am a published author, but only eleven short stories. Obviously, I don't want a newbie, but I've read great self-published books before, so one doesn't have to be published. I'm trying to decide which is best for me, as all authors don't succeed at being published, and all authors don't succeed at self-publishing.
I will be submitting my third horror novel, as an editor of a publishing house requested a full on my first book and I'm going to self-publish my second. There will be an occasional short story, also.
