Hey everyone, I am once more on the hunt for beta readers. I have written and polished a novel, and it has gained some agented interested. But it requires just a BIT more polish!

QUERY

Drusilla Xao is a Spacer, born and raised in the Hub, a space station hanging a million miles above the Earth's surface. She grew up afraid, afraid that any error or malfunction could everyone on board. The only respite from this fear was her dream of one day setting foot on Earth and breathing un-recycled air; of walking through cities where millions live without fear; of meeting her long distance lover, Sarah face-to-face. And those dreams seem closer than ever, with a space elevator nearing completion, promising to remove the massive expense of traveling between orbit and groundside.

In one instant, those dreams are shattered. Spacers seeking independence from the Earth sabotage the elevator. Half of the elevator becomes a rapidly expanding cloud of wreckage. The other half slams into the Earth and kills millions. Now, the debris hangs in orbit, making travel to and from the surface impossible for years, possibly decades. The China-America Alliance - whose entire economy hinges on orbital industry- declares war on the separatists. They conscript everyone they can get their hands on...including Dru.

Now Dru and her friends are drafted into a war fought in the cold blackness of space, with no hope of relief, reinforcements or retirement. The only thing that keeps her sane is her continued correspondence with Sarah, and the dream of one day setting foot on Earth.

DEBRIS DREAMS is a sci-fi young adult novel of 60,000 words.
