Two hours of work left, and I am off to play balloons! My pilot comes in Wends evening, and flights start Saturday. If you are coming to the Fiesta, we launch from H-8.

It is what we do to unwind from writing. Or pilot is here, "Vanzilla" behaved well on the pickup, and tomorrow we get the balloon out of customs, and pick up our credentials.

OK here is the Saga to date. Our balloon ended up in El Paso.... I guess from Germany El Paso and Albuquerque are a lot the same. None the less we went to the first mass ascension on Sat.

An update,

The balloon arrived in time for flight Sunday morning. I flew Sun, I think my primary job is ballast, Grin.

Monday was another great flight, although we landed in the mother of all goat head patches....
