For my son. My father in law gave me a huge stash of black walnut. I worked with a local builder to do the wood cutting, my son and I did the paint, assembled everything and did the electrical wiring. A fun project and a stunningly beautiful sounding telecaster.

Beautiful! What a great project. I play guitar (classical guitar) and I love anything that has to do with guitars...well done!

Fantastic. Building my own guitar is one of the most satisfying and rewarding things I've ever done.

Was there a reason you went with just one single-coil in there?

EDIT: My bad, I just spotted the second pickup at the bridge. Ignore me.

Yep. Two classic Fender tele single coils. This thing couldn't sound any more tele.

Teles are weird beasts. They are so simple and crude machines, but the sound and play like nothing else.
One of the most versatile electric guitars around if you ask me.
