Cliff Robertson died Saturday, age 88.
Andy Whitfield died Sunday, age 39.
Maybe not the most famous actors, but hard-working, nice guys I always enjoyed on screen.
At least Cliff Robertson had a good long life, with a lot of fine movie roles. My favorite movie of his is probably J.W. Coop.
Whitfield had a big breakthrough role in Spartacus: Blood and Sand, but then had to drop out when he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I was hoping he'd recover and go on to bigger and better things.
